The Larchmont Elementary School RAT Race—A Great Way for the ENTIRE FAMILY to Have FUN and Support Education!

We hope you will join us on Sept 30th, 2016 for the 35th annual Larchmont Run At Twilight (RAT) race! This family-friendly fundraising event is an enduring Norfolk tradition and is one of the few running events in the area that takes place in the evening hours. With a 1 mile race for children and young adults as well as a 5k race for those who need more distance, the RAT race offers something for everyone!

Both the 1 mile race and the 5k race are timed using the latest chip technology, and both courses are run through the streets of one of Norfolk’s oldest neighborhoods as well as through a portion of the Old Dominion University campus.

After the race, stick around at brick field (site of the original Larchmont Elementary School) and enjoy pizza and other snacks, music, and a raffle with prizes donated by local merchants!

The best part of all is that your participation in the RAT race supports the education mission of Larchmont Elementary School! So please come join us on Sept 30th for an evening of fitness and fun!!

We also need volunteers to help make this year’s RAT race a reality! If you would like to help out, contact Nicole Norris for further information!
